They're steps away.

Help them cross the finish line.

The Grad Village Finish Line Fund was created to help remove those final barriers.

How does a student end up just steps away from their degree, and still not make it?

  • An unpaid tuition balance prevents them from re-enrolling for their final semester

  • A diploma hold blocks access to the degree they already completed

  • A missing transcript stops them from applying for the job they worked toward

  • An unexpected expense, a car repair, a medical bill, a lost shift, derails their enrollment

  • A few hundred dollars stands between them and the credential that changes everything

  • No family safety net. No backup plan. No village to catch them.

These aren't stories of students who gave up. They're stories of students who were let down by a system that stops just short of the finish line. The Grad Village Finish Line Fund exists to close that gap, for good.

The Finish Line Fund supports two groups of students.

THEY FINISHED THE WORK, THEY JUST CAN'T ACCESS IT.

Diploma Lock Students.

These students have completed every academic requirement for their degree or credential. Every class. Every exam. Every requirement, done. But an unpaid institutional balance is preventing them from accessing their diploma, transcript, or records. They crossed the finish line. The paperwork just won't reflect it yet. Your gift helps unlock what they've already earned.

SO CLOSE — BUT THE CLOCK IS RUNNING OUT

Last Mile Students.

These students are 20 credits or less from graduation. They've put in the time, the work, and the sacrifice. But financial pressure is threatening to pull them out before they can finish. A single semester's worth of support can be the difference between a degree and a dropout statistic. Your gift helps them stay enrolled, stay focused, and cross the line.

EVERY DOLAR GOES DIRECTLY TO STUDENTS, NOT OVERHEAD

Funds go exactly where they're needed. Every single time.

All Finish Line Fund contributions are applied to verified student needs and sent directly to the educational institution, never to the student. This ensures every gift is traceable, accountable, and applied exactly where it matters most.

Clearing diploma and transcript holds. Outstanding tuition balances. Program and certification fees. Last-semester enrollment costs. When you give to the Finish Line Fund, you know exactly what your gift is doing, and who it's helping get there.

What makes the Finish Line Fund different?

This isn't general charity. It isn't crowdfunding with no accountability. It's structured, transparent, community-powered support, built specifically for students who are almost there.

Direct to the institution

Every dollar is sent directly to the school, not to the student. No guesswork. No misuse. Just verified, accountable support applied exactly where it's needed.

Built for the final stretch

The Finish Line Fund focuses specifically on students who are closest to completion, Diploma Lock and Last Mile students, because finishing is where the real impact happens.

Powered by community

Behind every student we support is a village, donors, businesses, faith organizations, and community members who believed finishing was worth investing in. That's the Grad Village difference.

JOIN THE VILLAGE

Unlock the degree. Fund the finish line.

Too many students have done everything right, and still can't cross the finish line. Some are one semester away. Others have already completed their degree but can't access it. A single gift can change that.

Whether it's $10 or $1,000, every contribution goes directly to a verified student need and is sent straight to the educational institution. No overhead. No guesswork. Just real impact for a real student.

Grad Village Corporation is a registered nonprofit. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
